Our Objective
Our organisation is dedicated to collecting and distributing food and household items to provide essential support and assistance to the community.
We aim to provide over 5,400 hampers to the community each year.
Through these efforts, we aim to address immediate needs, promote well-being, and foster a sense of solidarity among community members. Our service is designed to not only supply basic necessities but also to empower community members by fostering resilience and self-sufficiency.
By working collaboratively with local partners and volunteers, we strive to create a sustainable impact that enhances the quality of life for all residents. Our commitment is rooted in compassion and a shared responsibility to support vulnerable populations.
Addressing immediate needs.
What We Do
The Crateful Group is a local charity which collects excess items from local supermarkets and stores and after sorting, distributes the food items to people in need in the community.
The organisation currently has a small team of volunteers and it is hoped to expand this team with more people to allow for expansion of the service.
Crateful currently runs from a small Council facility in Oatley; the goods are collected daily using vans owned by the organisation.
